Peacocks and... Peahens?

I recently remembered in the last Harry Potter book, when describing the Malfoy's House, she says they have a white peacock. So i got some pictures to look at, and i imagine if you had them in your yard, at night, they would look like scary ghosts floating about. Just saying.
